  1. QoS requirements

The following talbe lists the QoS requirements for the UE to UE transmission.

  1. Clock Synchronization

The frequency offset may occur in the oscillator clock of the BTS after a period. The frequency offset affects the handover of wireless terminals between the BTS3900B and macro BTSs. Hence, the BTS3900 needs to correct the clock accuracy through clock synchronization. Huawei propose IP Clock Service with IEEE 1588 v2, the bandwidth of synchronizing the IP packet is 30 K for a BTS. When the QoS decreases, the bandwidth is 50 K for a BTS.

  1. Security

In the case of the private network application, the transmission private network provides the security guarantee. The BTS3900B adopts the private network IP solution of the macro BTS, that is, ESN authentication mode.

In the case of the private network application, the transmission network is untrustful, and the insecurity factors such as attack and interception may exist. The security authentication method is considered. The pre-sharing key and device ID authentication are used.

For the pre-sharing key solution, the BTS3900B and security gateway are deployed with the same pre-sharing key. When the BTS3900B originates the request to establish the IPSec tunnel, the security gateway uses the key to authenticate the BTS3900B and determines whether the BTS is valid. In this way, the security tunnel is established. Huawei propose IKE V2 protocol support from firewall side.
